We have now arrived in our project (at 31.08.09). It's called Edwenase Rehabilitation Center - a facility for physically and mentally disabled children, adolescents and adults aged between 11 and 30. The project officially opens on the day of our arrival, but in conversation with the manager, we know that it will usually last for some time until the first inhabitants . Nana, our contact person in Kumasi has pointed out to us that we should go with a lot of initiative to work, not much is required of us - apparently.
The front door closes at 8 clock in the evening. Otherwise, there are no large, or rather extraordinary rules.

Our room: Luca, my volunteers and I share a room, estimated size of 10 m². The furniture consists of a small bunk bed and a bank. A space continues to reside a family.
