How To Play Tech Deck Lives Skatepark

will revolt and leave in case of Mangalore

And suddenly there are only 3 weeks left in the project. The last weeks have gone by very quickly and we had a really good time at Maithri.
We enjoy the big city at the door and begin with the last shopping before the trip. For 17 March it is already on the tour through half of India. We are Goa, Mumbai, Pune, Udaipur, Jaipur, Agra and Delhi visit at the end yet. On May 6, it goes back towards home. Finally, we will recover our loved ones can close in his arms. But we are also a bit sad, because our time together comes to an end and we'll go from there separate ways.

protesters in Mangalore

But first we want to tell you about a demonstration in Mangalore, which was held last Sunday. We were on our way into town and wanted one of the main roads to cross in Mangalore as there many thousands of people marched in silence.
As we learned today was a demonstration organized by Christians in Karnataka.
were in September 2008 damaged 57 churches in Mangalore and statues of saints, especially Jesus. Those responsible should be the supporters of the conservative Hindu party BJP. They accuse the Christians, they want to force the Hindus to convert to their faith. But in reality it is the decision each individual to join a community of faith.

So the Christians in Mangalore try and push all the Karnatak Government to clear up the cases. This seems to show no great interest. So
was called on Sunday for a quiet walk through Mangalore to highlight the incidents and discrimination against Christians in Karnataka attention.
to the demonstration, 20 000 - 35 000 people expected. But it came together a total of 100 000 people.
We were very surprised about the many people who have come together and discrimination of Christians by the ruling party.

We now enjoy the last three weeks in Mangalore to the fullest and make us an exciting and fantastic finish to the round trip.
We look forward to Germany and especially you!

Primal your future and we at her engagement
We are trying times of the round trip to sign off!
If not, we will meet again in Germany!

Namaste!

Why Is My Pee Is Clear

Maithri about it ..

Just recently we had a great seminar with other weltwärts volunteers in India and have adopted a heavy heart of our Magic Malathi and KKID. Although we will still be a while in India, we are probably not the two to see her again.
our chic "new" Maithri Trust

But there was not much time to mourn. While we in the night train from Coimbatore to Mangalore again turned to the other side, ran in the Maithri Preparations in full swing. The 29, January already floated a few months to many activities and was allowed in any staff meeting are missing. On this day assembled all 3,000 women who have joined a support group of Maithri Trust.

The large square in front of Maithri in the rainy season, a lake, in winter a meeting;)

Preparations are in full swing ... ;)

the morning of the big day we begin promptly at 9:30 clock. Maithri has received in recent weeks, a fresh paint job and now looks very cozy. On the large square in front of a huge tent was erected. Now there are positioning chairs to decorate the stage and hanging signs. Anyone with help or are at least wise advice.
is all morning long gewerkelt eager and more and more jewelry, dishes and even furniture and plants are transported from one another to the place.
The "Senior Staff" ensures that the work is also fun. ;)
For a nice photo in between we had of course still have time.
After a lunch then there really stressful. Now prepare the Maithri ladies themselves before the big function. Weeks ago we bought uniform saris. Now we clean us further on.
the guests arrive ...

The function itself is-as at events in India is so nunmal-not half as exciting and interesting as the extensive preparations.
beginning ignite the guests of honor at a fire that will bring the blessing of the event.
As more and more women have organized in the seemingly endless rows of chairs, the guests of honor will be read out. You will receive a place on the stage one after another and keep their prepared speeches. Since the latter are all kept in Kannada, understand we are not much more than "help", "Brothers and Sisters" and a few numbers. Accordingly, surprise us, as we are seen suddenly from 3000 women and our seatmate tells us are: "He just said how good you are, the saris."
Our Maithri-Saris .
After the speeches, it is interesting for us. Our students have made a cultural program off the ground, that we again can be very proud of her. They perform traditional dances and sing in all possible combinations and voices. Finally, we sing with our former and current students of our long-running "If you're happy and you know ...".
We sing with our Schuelerinnen.
After cleanup, there is a short debriefing until finally, our director of an "a long, long day" adopted. We too are tired after this long day, but at the same time very happy. As useful as it is today, we have not felt for a long time.

Acceptable Bullirubin

Finally we come from to tell of our holiday season in India.

Bangalore

We bag and baggage.
Over Christmas we met for a week with the other volunteers of the Karl bucket Foundation in Bangalore. We really enjoyed being able to share with us the other about our experiences and have the western ambiance in Bangalore on us to leave. Especially beeindrucht us, the palace, a summer residence of the Maharadjas of Mysore. We were also in the palace of Tippu Sultan and Raintree, a beautiful villa with a great cafe. We have our stay in Bangalore but come on comparatively calm, and often have the cinema or simply enjoying a coffee at Coffee Day. In addition, some of us even enjoyed going back in a nightclub, but that closes at half past 12th

On Christmas Eve itself fell, the mood at first, because we had to think of all the delicious cookies, the Christmas tree and the songs at home. But when Sarah one of our hotel room festively decorated and we had sung a few songs, we went a lot better, we had a lot of fun with scrap elves playing music jewelry box and ongoing plastic elephants.

Year
New Year, we celebrated in Mangalore in Poonja hotel. There was a "party" with a dance floor and eating. But we were all a bit exhausted from the past few days and fell after a few calls in Germany to bed exhausted. The next day we were on a lilac Visit at a support group with Usha. The women were very happy about the fact that we came with the visit and have curiously questioned about Germany and we in return about their lives.

In the self-help group

That evening we took a bus to Mysore. There we spent a lovely week away from the project. Julia and Anjuli in Hassan were also two days there with Julia's parents so we have gone even eat together. Otherwise, we have seen the huge majestic Maharaja Palace, visited Charmundi Hill and visited the temple is on it. In Mysore there is a very famous bazaar of the few times are we strolled. There you can for our circumstances cheap anklets, Bangles, Rangoli color and spices and fruit and vegetables now. Mysore is also known for its silk factories so we could escape us not to attend. However, it was there so loud that we made a quick tour. To one of our highlights included an Ayurvedic massage, which we have indulged in a little luxurious hotel.
