What Are Someexamples Of Wedding Hor'deorves

Project - Christmas Cards

We are currently working on a donation program that I want to briefly introduce. It is to home-made Christmas cards that you can order it for little money with us and so much can cause. Here's the official description:

What are you doing there exactly?
Christmas cards. Together with the students of the Rehabilitation Centres Edwenase we make Christmas cards that your order and then send in more. The base of the card consists of a piece of dried plantain leave (cooking banana tree leaf), on the front panel designed by students sheet is glued paper (an image, a symbol, etc.) on the back of an empty colored sheet for personal congratulations and greetings . Special requests can of course be expressed as to whether they enforce them to be seen;). Moreover, any card with a "certificate" in the way of "Made in Edwenase rehab. Centre excellent "and bear the name of the student, who designed the card. If the Internet allowed here I will upload a picture of each student along with the name.
pictures with examples of cards I upload in any case soon.

Why all?
Edwenase The Rehabilitation Centre is an initiative which, along with other similar institutions of Ghana's first president - Kwame Nkrumah - was launched, so it's a "Governmental Organization ". One of the main intentions of Kwame Nkrumah, was the killing of disabled children by their parents, due to stop by the financial position or the like.
Killed Disabled Children born today are not everything, but here as elsewhere, people with disabilities still often discriminated against (someone in a wheelchair, for example, could never be "Chief"), and neglected by their parents, be it technical or training in other respects. This is usually not out of malice but simply because people with disabilities often need more attention than others. Attention to the parents often can not afford.
The idea behind these Rehabilitation centers is now so to take the parents the burden from the shoulders by their children, "the full monty" provides: full board, accommodation and training with which they eat after either independently or at least contribute to preservation of the family can afford. All this without compulsory costs (a contribution of some 10 € per quarter will be asked if the family can afford it). The full costs of accommodation, meals and training with the state so. Theoretically.
is now're Kwame Nkrumah, the program in the mid-20th century launched the interest it has unfortunately fallen with each new government. Today it seems finally so that is provided for the teachers but that would regularly get their reward, but everything else was apparently forgotten: Subsidies from the state for providing food and teaching materials will arrive every three months. This year, the government has paid a cent. In which quarter we are at the moment? Exactly. Something to eat with the students, however, and air and love one can teach anyone the tailors. So the project is dependent on donations. The problem is: It is after all a government project, which means that, in contrast to an NGO should be promoted in a big way to donate (such as on television or on billboards). So the project is on private donations instructed by word-of-mouth. The majority of these donations come from local churches and individuals (only recently donated a supermarket chain owner from Kumasi a larger sum). In general, the ranges in order to buy enough food around, but it is exciting again each semester if at all can be opened. And for course materials is then far from ensured. As we come into play.

What is spent the money collected?
What is done with the money we collect depends largely dependent on how much money the whole way here refers. On the one hand, we want more tools for students buy and expand the inventory of the library further, if possible increase but on the other hand, the teaching materials for the workshops (at the moment are, for example on a sewing machine of four students, with the result that is in the classroom much been waiting for). More accurate data we can make only if we know our budget. will also be discussed with staff of course, lacking the most urgent of material. It is certain so far only that not a cent in administration, labor, transportation, or anywhere else in the bureaucratic swamp disappears. The cost of transportation from Ghana to Europe, we assume.

What does it cost?
10 € for 10 cards as a guideline. A price we do not stipulate how much you are donating in the end is ready, with you.
