And suddenly there are only 3 weeks left in the project. The last weeks have gone by very quickly and we had a really good time at Maithri.
We enjoy the big city at the door and begin with the last shopping before the trip. For 17 March it is already on the tour through half of India. We are Goa, Mumbai, Pune, Udaipur, Jaipur, Agra and Delhi visit at the end yet. On May 6, it goes back towards home. Finally, we will recover our loved ones can close in his arms. But we are also a bit sad, because our time together comes to an end and we'll go from there separate ways.
But first we want to tell you about a demonstration in Mangalore, which was held last Sunday. We were on our way into town and wanted one of the main roads to cross in Mangalore as there many thousands of people marched in silence.
As we learned today was a demonstration organized by Christians in Karnataka.
were in September 2008 damaged 57 churches in Mangalore and statues of saints, especially Jesus. Those responsible should be the supporters of the conservative Hindu party BJP. They accuse the Christians, they want to force the Hindus to convert to their faith. But in reality it is the decision each individual to join a community of faith.
So the Christians in Mangalore try and push all the Karnatak Government to clear up the cases. This seems to show no great interest. So
was called on Sunday for a quiet walk through Mangalore to highlight the incidents and discrimination against Christians in Karnataka attention.
to the demonstration, 20 000 - 35 000 people expected. But it came together a total of 100 000 people.
We were very surprised about the many people who have come together and discrimination of Christians by the ruling party.
We now enjoy the last three weeks in Mangalore to the fullest and make us an exciting and fantastic finish to the round trip.
We look forward to Germany and especially you!
We are trying times of the round trip to sign off!
If not, we will meet again in Germany!
Namaste!
